About the Book

Each of the 20 circular designs in this book is represented by a full color and symbol chart for either 14-count Aida or 28-count Evenweave linen. Each design measures approximately 8 x 8 inches and can be displayed in a simple embroidery hoop.

 

The designs include creatures from around the world - like the majestic tiger, an adorable Koala, and a lovely Panda. There is a cute kitten, squirrels, deer and badgers too.  Birds have not been forgotten, and include a magnificent peacock and a colorful hummingbird. All are set amongst delightful floral scenes that depict seasons of the year and will surely delight not only stitchers, but animal and bird lovers alike.

Lesley Teare

Lesley Teare trained as a textile designer and has a degree in Printed and Woven Textiles. She has been a leading designer for many years and has written several books on cross-stitch designs and contributed to many others.
